Frequently asked questions.

In my therapy practice, I work with individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan—including preteens, teens, adults, and elders. My coaching practice focuses on supporting adults.

My approach is inclusive and affirming of LGBTQ+ and non-binary clients, queer and single parents, and those navigating medical or immune-related challenges. I also work with veterans and individuals exploring spirituality or seeking a deeper, more grounded sense of purpose and meaning.

Psychotherapy is a therapeutic process led by a licensed mental health professional. It focuses on understanding and healing emotional or psychological challenges through a structured, evidence-informed approach. My practice also weaves in creative modalities to support insight, integration, and lasting change.

Coaching, on the other hand, is a forward-looking, goal-oriented process that supports personal or professional growth and does not require a licensed psychotherapist. It is best suited for people who want guidance, accountability, and practical tools for growth rather than clinical treatment.

Boundary work is one of my core specialties. Many of the people I work with feel exhausted from over-giving, over-functioning, or carrying the weight of other people’s emotions. I’ve also become a trusted resource for individuals and families navigating addiction-related challenges.

My therapy practice supports clients with a wide range of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Relationship issues
  • Family conflict
  • Addiction and codependency
  • Eating disorders
  • Trauma
  • Self-esteem
  • Boundaries

In my coaching practice, people often come to me for support with:

  • Attracting or maintaining healthy relationships
  • Navigating career changes or challenging work environments
  • Finding stability and confidence during major life transitions

I am not in-network with any insurance companies at this time. As an out-of-network provider, I do not bill insurance.

The best way to get started is to schedule a free 30‑minute phone consultation to see if working together feels right.

Please send an email to [email protected]. Include your name, phone number, and a few days and times that work for you, as well as whether it is okay for me to leave you a message. I will reach out to schedule your consultation.

The initial phone consultation is a chance for you to briefly share what’s bringing you in, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of what it might feel like to work together. It also allows both of us to see whether the fit feels right before scheduling a first session.

I have completed advanced training in addiction treatment through The Addictions Institute, deepening my understanding of how substance use and other addictive patterns affect both individuals and families. This background supports my focused work with clients who are navigating their own recovery, concerned about a loved one’s use, or healing from the broader relational impact of addiction.
