Therapy & Coaching Services
Psychotherapy
Psychotherapy is a therapeutic process that helps you understand yourself more deeply, heal emotional pain, and shift patterns that are no longer serving you. It can address a wide range of concerns, including:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Relationship issues
- Family conflict
- Addiction and codependency
- Eating disorders
- Trauma
- Self-esteem
- Boundaries
With over 20 years of experience supporting adults, couples, teens, and families, I draw from evidence-based approaches as well as creative modalities such as art therapy and equine-assisted work, always tailored to your needs.
Together, we explore what’s not working, clarify what you want to be different, and take manageable steps toward feeling more grounded, connected, and aligned in your life. Sessions are available in person, online, or by phone, so you can access support in the way that works best for you.
Coaching
Coaching is for people who are ready to create meaningful change but may not need or want traditional psychotherapy. It offers future-focused, action-oriented support to help you move toward a life that feels more aligned and fulfilling. Together, we identify your specific goals, clarify what you truly want, and turn that clarity into concrete steps you can actually take.
Reasons for seeking life coaching may include:
- Attracting a healthy relationship
- Navigating a career change or difficult work situation
- Finding your footing during a major life transition
With decades of experience as a psychotherapist, I bring a deep understanding of emotions, relationships, and behavior to my coaching work. This allows me to quickly recognize patterns and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck, and to help you shift them in practical, grounded ways.
Throughout the process, I offer both accountability and compassion—providing the structure, encouragement, and support you need to follow through on the changes you’re ready to make. If you’re not sure what your goals are, we will discover them together. And if you’re unsure whether therapy or coaching is the best fit, I can help you differentiate between the two and decide. Sessions are available in person, online, or by phone, so you can access support in the way that works best for you.
Art Therapy
Art therapy offers a creative path to healing and self-discovery. Through painting, drawing, or other art forms, you can process difficult feelings, gain insight, and foster personal growth—especially when words alone aren’t enough.
You don’t need any artistic experience; the focus is on expression and reflection rather than skill. Often, the simple act of creating is itself healing, offering a new way to view your experience and gently transform what you’re feeling inside.
In our sessions, art becomes a safe, powerful tool for expression, growth, and emotional balance. Drawing on decades of experience facilitating art therapy groups, developing organizational programs, and guiding individual sessions for people of all ages, I tailor our work—whether in therapy, coaching, or a blend of both—to support your unique goals and stage of life.
Equine-Assisted Therapy
Equine-assisted therapy offers an experiential way to explore emotions, relationships, and behavior in partnership with horses. It can be especially supportive when you feel stuck, anxious, or when talking alone doesn’t quite reach what you’re feeling inside.
In this work, horses become part of the therapeutic team, offering clear, in-the-moment feedback that can illuminate patterns around trust, boundaries, and connection. Many people find that this process helps them build self-awareness, confidence, and a deeper sense of calm.
In our sessions, you work with the horses on the ground—through observing, grooming, or leading—rather than riding. No horse experience is needed; safety and comfort are always prioritized. Together, we use what unfolds between you and the horses as a powerful doorway into insight, healing, and more balanced ways of being.
