Frequently asked questions.
Who do you work with?
In my therapy practice, I work with individuals, couples, families, and teens. My coaching practice focuses on supporting adults.
What is the difference between psychotherapy and coaching?
Psychotherapy is a therapeutic process led by a licensed mental health professional. It focuses on understanding and healing emotional or psychological challenges through a structured, evidence-informed approach. My practice also weaves in creative modalities to aid in accessing the subconscious.
Coaching, on the other hand, is a process that supports personal or professional development. It is best suited for people who want guidance, accountability, and practical tools for growth rather than clinical treatment.
What are your areas of focus?
Boundary work is my real wheelhouse. Helping people define, establish, and maintain boundaries results in them feeling happier, healthier, and more energetic. I am an expert at identifying patterns that are not working. Each client has specific needs, so I listen to your personal goals and tailor our work together accordingly.
My therapy practice supports clients with a wide range of concerns, including, but not limited to:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Relationship issues
- Family conflict
- Addiction and codependency
- Eating disorders
- Trauma
- Self-esteem
- Boundaries
In my coaching practice, people often come to me for support with:
- Attracting or maintaining healthy relationships
- Navigating career changes or challenging work environments
- Finding stability and confidence during major life transitions
Do you accept insurance?
I am not in-network with any insurance companies at this time. As an out-of-network provider, I do not bill insurance.
What is the best way to get started?
The best way to get started is to schedule a free 30‑minute phone consultation to see if working together feels right.
Please send an email to [email protected]. Include your name, phone number, and a few days and times that work for you, as well as whether it is okay for me to leave you a message. I will reach out to schedule your consultation.
What can I expect from the initial phone consultation?
The initial phone consultation is a chance for you to briefly share what’s bringing you in, ask any questions you may have, and get a sense of what it might feel like to work together. It also allows both of us to see whether the fit feels right before scheduling a first session.
